Huge Pipes of Metal 巨大な金属の管

In a big concert hall, you may see many pipes of metal lined up in the back of the stage.
The keyboard section is near them.

This is the pipe organ.

The boy who came to take his lesson today delightedly told me that he won the right to play the pipe organ for two minutes.

As how to play the organ and the piano is different, he shared his initial anxiety with me.

However, he recalled I have some experience in playing the classical style organ. He looked relieved as I gave him some pointers.

I hope he enjoys this precious fleeting moment!

大きなコンサートホールに行くと、ステージの奥に金属パイプがずらりと並んでいることがあります。近くに鍵盤（けんばん）が並んだ演奏台も見つかることでしょう。それがパイプオルガンです。
今日レッスンに来た男の子が、目を輝かせながら、次のように話してくれました。「パイプオルガンを弾くイベントに応募したら、当たったよ！」
オルガンとピアノでは奏法が異なるため、彼は心配していましたが、１回のレッスンの中でかなりのレベルまで習得しました。
実は、私は以前、パイプオルガンを習っていたので、ある程度まではアドバイスすることが出来ます。
当日、彼が与えられた演奏時間は２分ということなので、３ページの短いバロック曲を選びました。
