お父さんとお母さんのピアノ？Friendly rivalry?

最近、生徒さんのお母様が子供さんに感化されて、ピアノを習い始めたご家庭がいくつかあります。

その中のお一人から、「私が習い始めてから、主人もピアノを弾くようになりました。」というメールを頂きました。

「対抗心からかも知れない。」という冗談めいたことが書いてありましたが、きっとお父さまはピアノを楽しむご家族に惹かれて、ご自身でも弾いてみたくなったのでしょう。

おうちの中に音楽があると、毎日が明るくなりますよね。本当に幸せなご家庭ですね！


Friendly rivalry?

Recently several students' mothers have also taken up piano lessons after being inspired by their children.

One lady mailed telling me that now her husband has started playing around on the piano ever since she began coming for lessons.

She joked that he is probably feeling a little competitive with his wife and daughter!

I can imagine how happy this family is with all that music in their house!
