ピアノが弾けるっ！Stay highly motivated!

他のお教室に通っている生徒さんの親御様より、「何年もピアノを習っているにも拘わらず、練習不足を理由にレッスンに行くたびに先生に怒られ全然上達しない。」というご相談をいただきました。
その先生は、生徒のことを思うあまり生徒さんの練習不足を叱責したのでしょうから、きっと素晴らしい指導者であるに違いありません。私はその先生を尊敬します。
でも、そのような状態の子供さんには、「上達」より「安心感」の方がより必要かも知れません。ですから、しばらく教則本の進度から目を逸らして、別の角度から音楽にアプロ―チする方が良いと幾つかの具体的アドヴァイスを差し上げたところ、とても喜んでいただけました。
音楽は一生ものですから、「ピアノを弾けるということが人生を豊かにするということ」を生徒さん本人が自覚するようになれば、上達も早いのです。
これから微力ながらお手伝いさせて頂きますね！
Stay highly motivated!
Recently, a mother brought her daughter for a demo lesson , and I'm pleased to say they decided to sign up with me. The girl's mother told me that her daughter had been learning the piano for some years but had hit a wall in terms of improvement partly because she had been only scolded by her teacher due to her lack of daily practice.
Upon hearing this, I tried to find what was holding her back from progressing and gave her some advice. As a result, I received a positive response and a thank you letter from her mother. I hope that this child will find a way to practice that will help her improve, and I’ll be happy to assist her in her musical studies from now on.
