Less can be more 無観客での発表会　

昨日、私が勤務するインターナショナルスクールで、無観客によるオーケストラとピアノによる演奏会が開催されました。
言うまでもなく、これはコロナ禍による特別なことで、例年は、満席になるほどの外部からの聴衆をお招きしてのイベントとして企画されていました。
今年は、熟練したオーケストラ団員が中途脱退したり、運営者から練習室の使用に制限がかかったりする中での活動でしたので、今回の開催には困難が伴いましたが、それだけに価値あるものだったと思います。
Yesterday one of my high-school students sent me the video of a concert which she took a role of sole pianist in the orchestra.
Actually, the concert was held with no audience…as you know a lot of musical events have been obliged to do so in the time of the dreaded C.
The members were far fewer than usual, but their performance permeated with such passion.
Music demands to be played and shared in the face of any adversity..
